How to shop for Pontoon Boats???

I could use some help here. I look on-line and I see one kind of a pontoon boat and another. This model and that model, X-type of bladder and Y-type of bladder. I am needing a source of information that tells what to look for in a pontoon boat. That would be able to educate me before I make a purchase. Does anyone have a link? If You can't post it here please email it to me.
Would love to hear of anyone's process in their buying proceedure. I just don't want to by impulsively. I can't even tell which model is recccommended for whitewater and which for pond water!
