US 125cc Motocross Champion Grant Langston’s manager Mark Reynolds has been killed by a mountain lion whilst mountain biking .
The Ornage County Register newspaper in California reported that A 110-pound mountain lion that authorities believe killed Reynolds and mauled a woman mountain biker was shot dead in Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park late Thursday (Jan 7th).

Reynolds’ body was found near where the woman cyclist was attacked but an autopsy has yet to be performed to determine the cause of his death. Tests were also being done on both lions killed to determine if one of them killed Reynolds.

Reynolds was an account executive with OMS Sports in Anaheim.

Don't let Jennie read this. Her adventure was enough to keep her shaking for a while. Whew.

Sorry to hear about anyone getting killed or even hurt, even when it points out what we've been saying all along. It's getting kinda scary out there. Even though I'm almost always armed, a blow to the back or big fangs in the back of your neck may not leave you much time or coherency to pull a weapon and use it.

There a lot of contacts that occur with wildlife. One of my friends was turkey hunting and trying to call a turkey in when he was knocked over by a bob cat that had hit him in the head. They each looked at one another and ran in opposite directions. He had a gun in his hands but it happened so fast, there was no chance to react.
