EO fisher in metro area Sat, where to fish?

I'm from the east side of the state, and I'll be in the Portland area Sat., any suggestions as to where to find a steelhead? I've fished the Hood before, and the Sandy at the hatchery, I'd appreciate any tips on a good chance at a hookup. Thanks for any ideas.

S53, unclear on the Smedley Butler reference, but Chesty Puller I know of... maybe I'm too old. My tour was '75-'78 (Iwakuni was a blast, WERS-17, then 1st FSSG).
