Re: Unemployed
Alot of Wildalnd Fire Fighting Positions will be getting filled here in a few months. Most of them are seasonal (6 months or more) But you can make alot of money very quickly. I made around $23,000 last summer. It's alot of work and alot of fun. Just a thought.

Re: Unemployed
Have you tried going up to the WDFW/PSMFC region 5 office in Vancouver. They might not have any jobs at the moment, but you could at least let them know your looking for something. The Pikeminnow program hires a few people every year.

Re: Unemployed
You may have tried this already, but, if not, you might try monster.com.....there are tons of OR/WA jobs posted there. Just an idea.

Re: Unemployed
If you want to give sales a try send me a PM and I will hook you up with my sales manager for an interview... $2000 base + a great bonus structure, benefits and 401(k) with matching.

Re: Unemployed
Keep at it Fast Water,
There's jobs to be had in the NF's, USGS, WDVW, etc. I had my turn in fishereies w/ the government and private firms but have admittedly turned tail and run to the medical field in fear of NBATOAB (never being able to own a boat).
