Jen,or Pete:
Every now and then I get a error pop up that says a script error was detected, then it locks up the computer so I have to log off to get rid of it. My computer expert bro. in law says it is a site problem.Any Ideas? Im definetly not a computer geek, so any help?
thanks Rich

Never seen it, nor heard of it happening.
It is probably your system, because it hasn't been reported to the UBB folks, either.

If you are running an older MAC, or an older Windows edition, it could be that.

I did a quick scan of the Microsoft Knowledge Base. There are a variety of script errors that occur under Internet Explorer. It looks like they are mostly caused by damaged files in the Microsoft package on your computer. The solutions are usually to remove the damaged file and reinstall. Have you upgraded your system or run updates for your software lately? That might solve the problem for you. I'd say it's unlikely that its cased by the software on Ifish.

My first suspect would be an old browser.

I'm telling ya, Mozilla ...

HC,

I've never gotten that one. Tell us about your computer; Windows version (95, 98, XP) or Mac (?) and what version of the browser are you using. Browser version can be found by going to Help on the main menubar and selecting "About Internet Explorer."

I suspect it's a call your connection/browser is making to the Ifish system. However, Pete and Jen certainly know more about the innards than I do.
