Default Been busy but here are are a couple of the latest builds

First one up is a Forecast Tough Stick 6'6" Medium Heavy. After having so much fun with wood veneer, I just had to try Abalone veneer. Believe me, the pictures just do not do this stuff justice.

Next up is a rod I built for this years toy drive. The blank came from last years build a blank session at Lamiglas. Its a G1000 9' 6wt 2 piece fly rod. The blank is finished in a unique Wild Cherry color and wrapped in Scarlet and Goldenrod.

Those both look great Ted !!!!

I like the color combo on the fly rod.

Missed you the other night we'll have to get caught up soon. I'm starting a couple projects so i'm sure I'll have some questions for you.

The abalone rod is absolutely beautiful. That picture doesn't do it any favors. The colors are stunning and really pop in the sunlight.

Great work stick!
