Default hey hey my my

Rock and Roll can never die.

Headphones, good music. I forgot that I even had this CD.

Neil Young

Just to show you what one man can do. He plays all the instruments. Sings, guitar, harmonica. All at the same time.

Making some of the best music ever produced.

I like him too, but can only take small doses at one time. His singing voice can start to get to me after a while.

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helvetica">My thoughts EXACTLY! Pretty decent guitarist, but that voice gets annoying after a little bit.

Anybody who knows music should have his Decade trilogy.
He was at his best with Crazy Horse. And CSN sucks without the "Y".

When he actually stays upright long enough to finish a show, he is a decent musician but a great poet. IMHO

I've never noticed him having issues with remaining "upright" in the last 20 years. Except when he's really flailing on "Ol' Black" like he's strangling some giant serpent... even then he stays on his feet.

I love Neil! Been following his career all the way back to his Buffalo Springfield days. Who can forget songs like Ohio,Cinnamon Girl,Keep on Rockin'in the Free World,Mr.Soul,Southern Man and so many others.
I love playing the harmonica piece on Heart of Gold!
He added an edge to CSN but I feel he never really fit in the smooth studio harmonies of those other three.
Anyway Neil Young is truly a legend with a sometimes annoying voice.

Gimme Shelter by Grand Funk Railroad
All along the watchtower by Jimmie Hendrix

Remember Barracuda by Heart?

Been going through the oldies. I can't think of a good reason why I stopped listening to them. Time to start again. Nothing coming out these days compares to the talent many of the earlier bands had. There's a few, but not many.

I just got through listening to Johny Cash Cat's in the cradle. I loved it. Great song sung by a legend.

Still, nothing beats Judas Priest in the morning.

I am a member of a guitarists site. Neil Young is constantly labeled: The most famous, worst voiced (can't stay on key), crappiest lead player out there.

I like CSN with Y, I just can't listen to Neil all day.
