New Powder House Cove Boat Ramp Closed Indefinitely

Hey ifishers,
The new boat ramp at Powder House Cove on Prineville Reservoir has been closed indefinitely for construction. They are apparently going to pave the gravel parking lot, install curbs and similar infrastructure. I've been trying to put my hands on the news release, but so far haven't been able to find anything other than announcements. The gate is locked and there is a sign up saying that it is closed for construction indefinitely. Sure glad I didn't drag a boat over there when we fished the Crooked last weekend.

yes I heard that they were paving. That ramp needs to be longer. It is almost high and dry. It is a great ramp in the spring, but when they built it they didnt make it extend long enough so that in the fall you can launch. Maybe with some luck they will add some more concrete!
