Crescent macks 11-08
After watching the forecasts all week I decided to hit Crescent on Sunday in between the storms. I took 2 friends who had never caught macks before and met up with Jimmy and a few of his friends. Things were slow in the morning, we lost 1 and had 1 other hit. We met Jimmy and his friends on the beach for some bbq'd brats, then back on the water. My friend Daryl got a decent one that went back in the lake, it was 29" long. 
Then I had a good takedown and had a good long fight. This guy went on a couple of good runs before we got him to the boat. I wanted mack for dinner and so did my other friend Jerry so in the box he went. 33" and 15 lbs.
The lake stayed pretty flat all day. It warmed to about 40 and was a beautiful day. We got them both about 100 feet down in 120 feet of water. We will be back!

Joe,
It was great seeing you guys up at Crescent Lake today. Thanks for a good lunch. Not to hijack your post but here are the two small macks I caught this weekend. First an 8 pounder on Saturday then a 7 today. It was tough fishing without a fish finder or downrigger but had a great time. Its probably my last trip of the year. Hope to see you on the water next spring.

You guys are driving me crazy down here. Great job by all of you , sure wish I was back up there, but came down with the dang flu. What was the surface temp holding at ?
Thanks for a great report and the pictures are outstanding. Joe happy to see you put your friend on a some nice fish, no better feeling than watching a friend land a nice fish.
