Default Lost crab pots

Crabbing at Hammond on Friday afternoon and probably stayed a little too long into the outgoing, or just the wind waves and swells got a little too big. Couldn't locate two of my pots, they may have started outbound. They are older Danielsons, so are pretty rusty and most of the plastic is gone, but if you found them I wouldn't mind getting back the rope, floats and bait boxes.

Yellow poly rope, Single large float with a smaller float.

They are probably gone, but thought I would just give it a try. Crabbing between 20 and 22. Appreciate your time.

Thanks, John

We crabbed Hammond on Saturday and Sunday. I set my Danielson pots around # 22 at the end of the outgoing. The tide should have been slowing, but it appeared to be picking up. We almost lost one pot that was placed upriver a couple hundred yards just inside Buoy 22. About a half hour later we attemped to locate it and were lucky to find it a quarter of a mile downriver from that buoy. The light was just right or we would not have gotten this pot back.

There were about 6 tp 8 boats in a one mile area between #22 and #20.

When we were heading in we saw one pot by itself, I believe with a white float???? This float was slightly upriver from #22 all by its lonesome. We almost picked it up and turned it in but elected not to.

Good luck in finding your pots
