Default how to repair leaky waders?

I have a fairly new pair of chest-hight neoprene waders. One leg has a leak low on one side that I cannot find! I've tried using an air compressor to inflate the lower leg that leaks, figuring I'd find the leak by running water over it or hearing the "hiss". I can inflate it like a balloon if I hold on tight to the upper leg with the compressor running. Didn't work. I tried filling the leg with water to see where it became wet on the outside. Didn't work. It has to be a small leak, yet by mid-morning I "slosh" while wading. I'm kind of assuming it is along a seam. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Larry

After draining the water from the (inside out) leg, try spraying the outside of the wader with rubbing alcohol. The leak will show up as a dark spot where the moister coming thru the leak mixes with the alcohol.

Then use Aquaseal or equivalent sealer. If the leak is along a seam, you can get a cleaner application by putting masking tape (blue) down each side of the seam, and then applying the Aquaseal so it overlaps the tapes a little. The tapes can be removed after a few hours when the Aquaseal has set up a bit, but not cured completely.

I had the same issue with an old pair of waders long since retired.
I fixed them with aqya seal. Found the pin hole by sitting in the bath tub with cold water and just skibbiis on, when I felt the cold water, I got up yanked em down and saw the approx location of the leak. Blow dried the inner part, then circled it with a sharpie, next I walked to the ditch down the street and (after putting on some shorts of course) waded into the ditch for about 1 min then got out and found the pin hole.

Sealed er up and never leaked again.
