I think everyone ought to check ot this site. I had someone hack my computer, and cause some problems (can't talk about it till after the trial :grin: ). Anyhow, customer service at the major computer manufacturer that built my computer, suggested webattack.com as a possible place to find fix-it software. Webattack.com is now snapfiles.com but they have the same stuff. Good shareware and freeware, I downloaded hijackthis, and it identified 15-20 spyware and registries that were running or had been modified by someone other than me. I run adaware and spybot as well. I may be paranoid, but I keep finding ways around what I have in place now. Anyway, there might be something interesting for some of you on the site.

No, I am now affiliated with them, they just solved a major frustration ofr me, and might make some of you folk's life easier as well.

The one that I like for spyware is Spybot Search and destroy
Just do a google on it. I find at least 10 a week that sneak on. :smile:

I run Spybot as well. I was amazed what slipped past it though. I was running Adaware until today, and spybot caught many that got past adaware. A computer savvy friend told me that hijackthis and spybot look for some different things. I guess having a back-up won't hurt.
