Great American adventure stories:

I believe this hardcover copy of “Into Thin Air” is the original 1st edition, $25 cover price. Of course it’s about the 1996 climbing accident on Mt. Everest.



One of those – can’t-put-it-down books.


Into the Wild is Krakauer’s earlier book about the 1992 story of a young adventurer who goes into the Alaskan bush. His journal provides the details of his slow death.
