Dont Forget Our Feathered Friends

Just a reminder to those of you that normally put bird feed out for our wild friends to check their feeders. I had a bunch of birds looking in my window this AM because ours had frozen! :shocked: :shocked: Poor guys! They are full now. :grin:

We also had to defrost our hummingbird feeder. I thought all hummingbirds were migratory until this year we kept having birds in our feeder. We consulted a NW bird guide and came to found out that a few different kinds of hummingbirds stick around all year in western Oregon.

They need non-frozen water too.

Does anyone have egrets in their yard? I do :smile: and I'll try to get a picture to post.

I just got in from re-filing the feeders and fired up the putter. It looks like we all are thinking along the same lines. When you can not fish might as well feed the birds.

I just refilled the feeders too! Yesterday there were birds taking baths in our pond. It made me cold just watching them!!! :shocked:
