Winged Migration

Anybody see Winged Migration yet?

If you rent it (or buy it) on DVD, make sure you check out the "making of" featurette. That was just as good as the main feature.

IMHO, it's a "must see" for anybody that digs waterfowl or wildlife in general. The cinematography is amazing.

We watched it the other day, Incredible film.

Is it just me, or was it kind of hard to hear the narration over the background music?

And you are right, the making of the movie extra almost stole the show!

On the same topic, we had a Northern Flicker on our covered patio today seeking respite from the storm, (And the bird seed we scattered on it)

Yeah, I noticed the narration thing too. It was the first DVD played on my new DVD player, and I thought I might have set the audio up wrong. I guess I didn't. :smile:
The narrator does have a heavy French accent, which doesn't help.

Definitely a must see. The seen in the movie where they showed the Northern Gannett feeding on that calm water was truly amazing.
