Story Thread
It's been awhile since we've had one and with most unable to venture to the rivers how about a story thread. You post a few lines from the previous for a little fun
As she bowed her Red head, praying for snow it was obvious..

Re: Story Thread
...She did not fully appreciate the power of <her> prayer, as off in the North and the West the powers that be were brewing up a wicked combination of cold and water....

Re: Story Thread
that would be unleashed upon snow-panicked city dwellers. Will it flood? Maybe it's time to hit the high water spots for an early Springer so I called...

Re: Story Thread
The Ticnoc warriors warcraft billowed out of warp high over the storm clouds, which concealed the riftlight from the unknowing populace below.
The GLoque stirred in his throne as the netherling brought the troop status report to him. "Argh-h-h-h. 3 rotations before we are ready to pounce! Who is responsible for this incompetence?" Amber spittle dropped from the Gloque's eating orifice tendrils as he writhed in fury.
"B-B-borloc is responsible for the troops, sir, he is responsible..." the netherling quavered.
"BRING HIM TO ME!!! No, bring his wretched twitching corpse to me! We did not cross 72 parsecs of dead cold space to miss the window of opportuntity that that fish harlot gave us with the climatic disturbance."
The netherling slithered off to convey this instruction to the waiting courtiers, all of whom were too timid to enter the sphere of the GLoque's potentially deadly wrath.

Re: Story Thread
It was early morning when the River Guardian graced the silvery banks of the small coastal river. The ice, snow and water playing tricks with the infant light sent colored sashes about dressing Her presence. She, of course, had seen the sight a thousand seasons or more and yet delighted in its beauty. She had been the one who call it to be. It was Her way.
This morning the light was different, its warmth shadowed by the unknown. She puzzled at the hues and reflections searching for a pattern, a clue or a hint that would belay Her concern and tell Her all was right. Finding no such comfort, Her gaze turned toward the clouds and the sky. “What has being in my presence without nature?”, the Guardian called to the Heavens.
With the crack of a thousand bolts of lightning the clouds started to part………

Re: Story Thread
Now that was a thread killer.
I don't even know what you look like Mello-Yello but it was still a horrible, horrible visual.

Re: Story Thread
Dunno what to say. You prefer the 'mello' dramatic, I prefer humor.
