I am a very determined angler, recently at a local pond I was fishing using a slip bobber for trout. I got a hit,set the hook and my line broke, must have had a cut in it. Goodbye gear, I re-rigged and before I could start fishing again my bobber pops up right in front of me going back and forth about four feet from shore, grabbing my other rod rigged for bottem fishing to snare my gear. Then the fish moves off around the pond my gear in tow. I ran all the way around the pond, up to my ankles in mud, using up fishing time, good news is after a half dozon casts I snared my gear and the fish ,a 10 inch trout. I figured the fish had been through enough dragging the gear around i let it go and caught three fish 12-14, Mt. Hood pond, two weeks ago. Hopefully I've given a few of you a laugh!
