Excel 2000 Help

I need help with a formula.

Column AA9 through AA164 has a set of 10 numbers used throughout the column. In cell AA165 I want to create a formula that adds all of the 1's in the AA column.(to include the 2's,3's and so on.

I have 15 sheets in this workbook which 12 sheets represent the months of the year. On the 13th sheet I want to total the results of the formulas from column AA on all 12 sheets. All 12 sheets are identical.

Are you confused? I am..............

Are you just trying to find a sum, or something where you need the puter to "lookup" particular numbers and tally them? Vlookup is a powerful tool if ya know how to use it. I'm still pretty weak in that area, but am able to amaze myself from time to time...
