My fishing Buddies gone
My fishing Buddy passed away last night and will be missed a great deal....Rest in Peace Boy....sniffing doggy butt in the sky....
He was 7 years old...not too old but was starting to suffer seizures....and I found him laying in the snow last night...

Re: My fishing Buddies gone
Sounds like he was suffering a degenerative disorder of some kind. He's better off there than here.
All too soon we'll all be joining him there. You'll have all the time in the world to fish with him then. Until then, rest assured that he's a happier pup to be free of his burdens.
ps: Great looking dog. I think I'll go hug mine now and be sad a little for the day when they chase that big stick in the sky.

Re: My fishing Buddies gone
Thank you for the suport he will be missed. :depressed: ..but I do believe he was my last hound...too much trouble out of them bone headed, stubbern sent hoovers...I used to hunt with hounds back when it wasn't fround apon by all the bunnie huggers...he was the first hound I had that never had the oppertunity to hunt...so I taught him to fish instead. But last spring my brother bred his yellow lab for the first time and tryed to get me to take one,but I had Boy,that was his name not to imaginative but he was raised with three females as a pup and the name just stuck....didn't want to confuse him by learning a new name he was a hound afterall, but now that he is gone I may become a lab owner this spring when Annie,my brother's dog, gets bred again to Max, the yellow across the alley way.Last year she had a litter of 11  all yellows and good looking pups.

Re: My fishing Buddies gone
TonTo,
Sorry for your loss. My GSP likes to pose in the boat, much like yours did. I am not looking forward to the day mine is gone. He makes a pretty good boat partner on the days I can't find human company. I am sure yours did too.

Re: My fishing Buddies gone
Sorry about your buddies passing Tonto. Myne passed away last year on new years day, and i doubt i will ever forget about her. It never ceases to amaze me how we can become so attached to those four legged friends. Maybe cause they are the most loyal unconditional loving animals on the earth.
