Default Michelob Ultra

I have always hated the taste of Michelob, but I got humbled into drinking one of these awhile back.

I like it.

95 Calories and 2.6 Carbs

I know all you high steppin' micro brew drinkers are turning your noses up right now

I have actually grown to kinda like Michelob Ultra and Miller Lite. Course I have also grown to like lo-carb ice cream and diet coke too. I think we adapt our tastes to the food that is available. Thank goodness, as it makes staying on Atkins a lot easier.

I prefer beer that you have to chew and leaves a bit of skum in the bottom of the mug.

Ultra is OK if you can't get beer. But only OK, as far as I'm concerned.

I love my Micros...but, that Ultra is pretty darn good.
My doctor would say if you have to have a beer, the Ultra would be the lesser of an evil way to die.

Down with macro brews!!! Sorry, had to chime in.

The way I figure it, the less refined the end product, the less bad it is for you. (I say "less bad" because the Dr. types will chime in that any alcohol is bad for you.) Like refined sugar vs. raw sugar. The other stuff in the raw product is most likely the stuff your body needs to deal with the product. The refining process takes all that out. Our fine NW microbrews are about as close to a raw product as one can get, and mighty tasty to boot.

Do any of you drink the beer made at the Oregon Trader?

I couldn't believe the taste of an ultra-lite so I sent it to a lab to have it analyzed. The report said that my horse had hepatitis.

Gee, I still miss "pounders".

Actually for light beer, Henry's Amber Lite is pretty good. I think it is 11.5 carbs however.

what's the alcohol content on the Mich. Ultra here in Oregon? I drank a 6-pack of them once and swear the only thing I felt was bloated...

But then again, I drank a 5th of Tequila once and didn't feel anything either...

seriously though... they must be pretty low on alcohol.

Ultra has the same alcohol as other domestic beers like Bud Light and Coors Lt. Ultra has tripled the sales of all the other Michelob styles(Regular, Light, Bock, Hefe, Honey) by itself! The stuff is great if your on a low carb diet and it appeals to Light beer drinkers as well because of its easy drinkability.

I love a good Micro myself but have a fridge of Ultra as well. Aint beer great

I've been on nothing but Ultra and Miller Lite for 5 years now. Gotten used to them. Of the two, I think Miller Lite is probably more to my taste.

I ran out of both of them last week, so I had to have one of Sooz's IPA's. Oh man! It's been a long time.
