New Store to Bend

I stoped at G.I.Joes yesterday and Gill said thay they were goingto get a new store, more space.
Also he said that Fishermans may be comming to the Bend area, YAHOO, we need one of them over here.
Just thought I would pass this on to thouse that come here and live here.
Thay don't know where the new store going to be at this time, but where ever thay put it, it well be better than where thay are now.

Yeah, those great corkie sales don't mean squat in Bend unless you like corkies the size of a golf ball!

Seriously, it would be nice to have a place where they actually have a selection of salmon and steelhead gear. However, with the way it is now, it sure makes trips to Portland and Salem fun, stopping at Fishermans or Sportsmens. :smile:

I was in the Bend store on Saturday night, and I'm sorry but those employees there don't know squat! They don't know where anything is, they aren't willing to help and it was the worst experience I've ever had in any GI Joes store.

In my opinion, they don't need a new store just some new help!

When are you comming down here Blackdog? We need to "hook up"!

More than likely I'll be down this weekend, probably from about Wednesday night to Sunday. Main reason will be for a memorial service, but also plan to dig a few razors, probably in the dark, and fish a little as well (been so long that may seem like it's in the dark ). Let me know if you're not going to be busy - it'd be nice to see ya.

Couldn't agree more about the GI Joes thing over here. It's rediculous. I try to never shop there. I usually try to shop in Travis' garage, it's stocked way better. :grin:
