Great game, probably the best one this year. Just a yard too long. Anyone else see that the middle linebacker didn't fill the gap on that 4th down? I just knew they would be stopped short, but someone was out of position.

Belloti was trying to save time, as I he assumed their kicker could make the field goal.

Waterdog, you still lost the civil war. Chew on it for a year.

the Beavers beat New Mex by a heap, you could have stuck a fork in the Lobos by halftime.

The Beavs got ripped off by the refs or the Cougs would have got the loss. But the Cougs got their just desserts and the puppies got thier sixth Apple Cup in a row and what? Oh yeah, the third time knocking off a ranked Cougar team. OUCH! That has gotta hurt.

Texas sucks, only two things ever came out of that state

Hey Krue, does the Earth revolve around Corvallis? It seems you think everyone else Sucks. Pac 10 as a conference had a good showing. UW should have got the bowl game instead of UCLA and the Ducks were close, very close to making it 5-1 for the Pac 10.

Congrats to WSU who had the "shocker" of the season.

I was happy to see USC take care of business in the Rose Bowl and am very pleased to see a Pac 10 school take a piece of the National title. Whats really scary is how many underclassmen that team has.

I was hoping for a PAC10 sweep. Shoot, as much as I hate Fresno, and their walrus faced coach, I was rooting for UCLA... :shocked:

I mean, maybe the Huskies should have rolled over and let the hapless Cougars get an Apple Cup? It would have meant a ton of money for the conference. But no, they did the right thing and whopped Cougar arse!

We can all boo hoo about the refs all you want. You can say the beavs got bad calls in Pullman. Personally, It looked like they just fell apart. WSU could complain some more about the calls against USC. Oh Well.

Beavs win, Good. WSU wins, good. Dawgs go to toilet bowl, good. Oregon loses, good. (I sadly like the beavs better) and so on.

Yes, we did lose to the dang dawgs, but we did beat the beavs.

We beat the #5 Texas (somehow in Krue's mind the #5 team on a 6 game streak sucks??? Someone is starting the year off bitter?!? :grin: ) The beavs beat a good high school team. WSU and Oregon State are not in the same boat.

Krue, we went around earlier in the season. You know it is all in good fun for me to throw a few jabs in now and then. Shoot, I bet you like to do the same. [img]graemlins/icon_argue.gif[/img]

Football is over, but are you looking forward to a great basketball season? I am guessing Washington, Washington State and Oregon State, 8,9,10 in the Pac 10.

I also questioned Bellotti's timeout w/ 36 seconds left too. Later I found out that it was a pre-game decsion by all coaches to take a timeout if this exact scenario came up. So it was pre-arranged and they took a gamble, and it back-fired on them. It was a great game, and the Ducks played well, although defense at the end could have been better. They just could not stop their running game, even though they had been so tough all season. :whazzup:
They did beat the Beavs badly, [img]graemlins/applause.gif[/img] and held Jackson to 68 yards, 40 of them on one run. They held Michigan to under 50 yards on the ground, and had a great season. With the Ducks being a young team, look out for the Ducks in 2004 season, GO DUCKS !!!!!!!
