Welcome aboard Rainbow1. When you become a member here it's customary that you share a fish story with us. The story doesn't even have to be true...heck, most of ours aren't!

Re: New member
Hi, Money has been tight like for everyone, second job chance fell through which is how I earn Christmas money. I have been fishing for over fourty years and my stock of new and used gear is large. My wife asked for a special gift this year and I love her so much I'm more than willing to do it ,married 12 years, Rainbow1.

Re: New member
My wife wanted a special gift for Christmas one year. Asked her what she had in mind, and she said to surprise her with something that she would remember for years to come. After great thought, it came to me. Took her ice fishing. We have been married over 40 years, and she still remembers the ice fishing trip on Christmas. She already forgot the vacuum cleaner I got her last Christmas, but remembers the ice fishing trip 25 years ago. Just a suggestion.

Re: New member
Thanks for the suggestion, I just got my wife to go fishing again two years ago and she's as much an addict for large trout as me. Her special gift is a set of diamond and emerald earrings for pierced ears, I sold only one rod and still have half a dozen left both new and used, I won't be running out or giving up my fishing. My wife especially enjoys fishing off the dam at Detroit, especially when she figures out what the fish are biting on before I do!
