Default Jig Head Paint Dryer

Seen alot of topics on Jigs lately and thought I'd post a picture of how I dry my Jig heads. I've been using vinyl paint and have had a hard time finding a way to let the paint dry evenly and a place to set them while I paint more. Here is what I came up with. I found a peice of Styrofoam and cut some slots into it, I then place the bend of the hook into the slots.

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helvetica">Powder paint is good stuff. True, it does chip off more so than the vinyl paint, but heck, it's so much easier and faster and many more color options, at least in my opinion.
HOWEVER, Corkie Monster, that is a great idea. Evenly dried paint makes a jighead look much more attractive.

Maybe you could post a few pics of your finished products?

Yea, powder coat is alot easier, I have a bunch of that too. But I found the vinyl is a heck of alot tougher. Oh, and vinyl paint in a small enclosed room = good times  Kidding, I have to go to the garage with the doors open with that stuff.

Sparkleboy
I will post a pic as soon as I finish the ones I'm doing now.

I just use fingernail polish.. 500X more colors than any other method. the polish stays on just fine and if its chipping off, your jig is running too deep! .99$ a bottle you truly cant beat it!

Ooooohhhh, I like, I like!
The yellow/chartruese looks especially good.

*Whispers*
Try chartruese and pink together.

Shhh, don't tell anyone!

I thought about Pink & Chartreuse, but the book I read said to stay away from loud color patterns. I think i will try it, just to prove the book wrong. I have still yet to hook a fish on jigs, but have'nt been fishing much lately either. Now that I got a vehical I'm going everyday.

Thanks
