Seahawks: Good News, Bad News
Good News: Playoffs!!!
Bad News: They play Greenbay in first round :depressed:
Oh, well....maybe next year. Wonder if they'll keep Holmgren around for another year.
Happy New Year!

I am ashamed for the way the Vikings played this year. Good offense, Terrible Defense! I am going to go have a good cry!

A big thank you to Detroit and Joey Harrington for giving home field to Philadelphia. They really didn't need it that bad (they needed the bye week worse) but it was a nice way to end the season.
I gotta get one of those Eagle hard hats to wear at work.......

You mean, besides Tampa Bay, New England (BTW who I picked to play Philly in the Big One), Dallas, and... yuk, yuk, yuk, Gufaw... the 49's
Oh well, I'll let you bask in the temporary sunlight
'Cause reality is that Reid and McNabb are both over rated. Which has nothing to do with their race or ethnicity. They played a wuss schedule. If they had played the AFC West or AFC South instead of the girly AFC East, Philly's record would have barely made a wild card slot.
IMHO...
Krue
PS: Hawks get the job done in Cheese town
Seahawks will win two on the road
Hawks 31
Cheesers 27
 hear me know, think about it later, remember it next week.

<font size="2" face="verdana,arial,helvetica">Krue,
That's funny, I thought Philadelphia played in the NFC East.
The Chickens have barely won at all on the road this year, and they sure ain't gonna pull one out on the Frozen Tundra. The Cheeseheads are rolling and hitting on all cylinders right now and they won't even feel that speedbump called Seattle.
Bad thing is now I have to listen to the local media talk about how great Seattle is since they won 10 games......for the first time since 1986!!
Oh yeah, how 'bout them Steelers? (snicker)
Hello? Krue, ya there?

Re: Seahawks: Good News, Bad News
Packers are peaking at the right time. Favre, what a warrior.
Thanks Cardinals.
Philly is overated, good call. So are the Rams.
As usual Vikings faded again and again and again. YES
As much as I hate the 'boys, always watch out for Parcells.
Seachickens will lay the egg.
yadda, yadda, yadda, Super bowl, Patseys and Packers.
Go Pack Go!

This year the NFC East played the AFC East. The NFC North played the AFC West. The NFC South played the AFC South and finally, the NFC West played the AFC North.
See, there is rhyme to my reason.
Oh yeah, my Steelers are adrift and it seems that we don't have a direction. If only we had Cordell Stewart to blame this mess on.

Blah, blah, blah - same ol' cheesy guys wearing those ugly yellow and green uni's blurring accross my TV screen. Yeah, Favre is a good QB - no doubt about that. But Seattle has shown they can beat him and even pick him off. Go underdogs! Hawks by 8.5! (yeah, right)

Re: Seahawks: Good News, Bad News
ORS,
I was happy when Seattle returned to the NFC. It gave me a legit NFC to cheer for. I was always a closet Seattle fan because of their AFC affiliation and my undying love for the Steelers. But now, unless they meet in the Superbowl (wouldn't that be grand?) I can cheer for the Northwest team.

Re: Seahawks: Good News, Bad News
In reality, that's why I support the hawks - they're close to home. Yeah, they've sucked in the past and Mike H. has been a little bit of a disappointment after what he did for the cheeze-whiz. I would really like to see they're offensive line be more consistent - I think Hasselbeck would concur. Regardless, I think it will be a good game next week!

Re: Seahawks: Good News, Bad News
OregonRedside....
GOOD NEWS: Packers spank the Seachickens and move on in the playoffs.
BAD NEWS: [for the city of Seattle  ] the Seachickens have return airline tickets. If you guys were smart you'd shut down SeaTac so those losers can't come back.
Yeah, it's a shame Mike couldn't do for Seattle what he did at Green Bay. Well, here's your answer, the Seachickens suck.

<font size="2" face="verdana,arial,helvetica">Oops....misundersto od your post. I was being all smug because I thought you made a typo. I should have known you were referring to their schedule against the vastly inferior AFC posers.
Well, the Steelers get their shot at the Iggles next year. I'd better store up some serious smack for that one.

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helvetica">The AFC West? Are you kidding? With the likes of San Diego, Oakland, and barely-made-the-playoffs Denver?
AND, I'd like to point out that Philly beat Carolina and Green Bay on the road, and those two went on to win their divisions.
The Eagle's schedule looked tough at the beginning of the year, but you know how that goes. Like they say, NFL= Not For Long.

Re: Seahawks: Good News, Bad News
One Pump,
Do the Steelers really have to play the Eagles?
Dang, I'll never live that one down
Well, besides last year, the AFC has been on a Super Bowl tear! By the way, what is Philly's record against their AFC opponents in the Super Bowl?

Re: Seahawks: Good News, Bad News
Yeah, they play in Pittsburgh next year, and in Philadelphia in 2008.
The Eagles have only appeared in one SB, in 1981 (under Dick Vermeil), when they lost to the Raiders. :depressed:
The NFC had what, a 12 year win streak in the Super Bowl (until the Packers choked against Denver)? I guess the AFC was due.
