What is wrong with this picture?

I reported it to the editors. They didn't seem to think it was a big problem, but said they would "fix it."

I showed Bill and asked him what was wrong with it, and he couldn't see it either, right off.

Hey, I've seen people up at Bonniville fishin for shad using nothing but a rod, no guides, but did have a tip. The line they held in a bulk spool by hand, and reeled in by twisting the spool.
personally, I'd bought a snoopy rod and gone professional

how do we know there isn't a reel just below his knees? Maybe that rod has a short butt on it?

Aw come on...he's just trying to give the fish a chance
...and fishing without a reel is the most sportsmanlike way to do that. I set my kids' gear up that way all the time...especially when I have become to frutstrated trying to untangle the birds nests!!

ive snagged trees, rocks, other boats, other fishermen, my butt, my thumb, my hat, my dad, a sock off of the bottom of the columbia.... but never a funny bone... i think hes got a capped tooth too... :grin: joco
