Default God Bless "The Geek"

Yesterday, I was sent an email that was very derogatory and inflammatory about Target and how they treat veterans.

Thank God for the Geek.

I read it. Started to send out to everyone in my mail box but I stopped and went to Snopes.com.

Guess what? It was a lie. I then copied the reference and pasted to the email and put a Paul Harvey, "and now for the rest of the story" introduction on it.

It's amazing how a little gentle nudge can change how we handle things in our life.

To The Geek

I got that e-mail, too. I questioned it and did not forward it. Don't believe everything you read!

It's amazing. But I learned most of my lessons from the kindest people.

Even when you had the Geek frustrated he would maintain his cool. At times, I felt like an unarmed man when in a battle of wits with him.

On the few occasions that I "upped" him he was as honorable then as in the many times that he proved my error.

I miss him, he was a genuine person.

Merry Christmas Geek!

May your drifts be sweet and your set be true!
