I think I'll trademark the word Tillamook and see how the Tillamook County Creamery Association likes it................

They've probably already beat me to it..........

Here's something else that's amazing. I grew up on the southern Oregon coast and that crapola Bandon's cheese they sell today is not or even remotely close to the original Bandon cheese. Sad,very sad it's like they killed the Easter bunny.

I smell a public relations nightmare coming for Tillamook Cheese. Which they may richly deserve.

And to think, I just bought a brick of Bandon 'cause it was 50 cents less than Tillamook! Never again!

Maybe Bandon Cheese needs some emails telling them that to lessen any chance of confusion we wont buy Bandon Cheese.

Such Wreckless A-Bandon............oops.

And I agree with Freespool, the last brick of Bandon Cheddar I bought was nothing like the old stuff.

fortywinks, they changed the name from Bandon Cheese to Bandon's Cheese. And did they ever change what's inside. When I was in SE Asia my parents would send me 10# of jerky from Powers and 4 bricks of Bandon Cheese. Strangely the cheese made it ok,kinda oily, but if you put it in a refrigerator it went back to cheese. And was I ever popular.

I have to agree too, the Bandon cheese just isn't as good as it used to be.

Part of our excursions back and forth to the parent's home in Gold Beach has ALWAYS been a stop at the Bandon Cheese Factory.

When it changed ownership, these stops became much more irregular.

Now, I believe I might make one more stop, to let them know just what I think about this insanity...and it will be my last.
