Default Cork Sealer

$ 4.45 FOR 2 OZ jar of cork sealer, ouch!

What is the composition? And/or substitute ?

Agree the 2 oz’s goes a long way, but if this stuff is basic chemistry , why not have an option

Default Re: Cork Sealer

don't know the chemistry of U-40 Cork Sealer and I know of no substitute or similar product. However, many use a product used by gun stock finishers called "True-Oil" and swear by it's sealing proporties and it's ability to bring out the grain of burl cork & woods.
