Next year end has got to be better!

Im telling ya , it can only get better from here, two weeks before thanksgiving i got severe tonsilitis, then thanksgiving week i got that @&%$##$%%^&& flu so i could not eat much that week, im just now getting better from having my tonsils cut out on the fourth, and now my baby girl has that bad flu with 103.8 fever and she is miserable , i feel so helpless :depressed: :depressed: . It has kinda put a damper on the whole Holiday spirit thing. So i hope verybody else is having a good holiday season And i guess i will look forward to having a better season next year.

MD --- How was the tonsillectomy experience? I've often wondered how that feels to an adult. :shocked:

Don't complain, you could have 1/3 of your colon removed for your birthday :depressed:

Thumper, the surgery itself accually turned out very easy after all my nervousness, Thanks to all that posted good things on my last post before surgery. But i will tell you the after affects are something i would not wish on anyone, very painfull for about a week and then pretty good discomfort for a while after that. i am still having some weird sensations when drinking cold drinks and having trouble swallowing certain foods. But if it helps to make me feel better in the long run i would gladly do it again, only time will tell at this point.

I'm sure that you already know but keep a close eye on your little one. This flu is a nasty one. If you have any doubts take her to the doctor. 103.8 - that's cookin'.

We took her first thing this morning , no messing around when it comes to my baby girl. Unfortunately he said he has been seeing alot of this nasty thing lately. We purchased one of those new cool thermometers that you just run it across the forehead and it supposed to give a better reading than the ear type.My baby has grown to hate anything that looks like something a doctor might use and this thing is like a beeping toy so she allows us to use it easier. Works great , monitoring very close, thank you for all your concerns.
