GSA had a disagreement regarding the moral implications of paying guides to take you fishing. (well, that’s what I think) I do not believe it was a major blow up but with people’s feelings and emotions it is hard to gauge.
I miss his input here as well, and in all arguments it is advantageous to get all sides…

I'm not sure it was paying guides, but he said he did have some philosophical differences of some sort. I'm sure he still reads this...

Hi everybody...yup, I had a disagreement with management over the guiding issue. I thought an ifish member should be able to express an opinion, even if uncomfortable to some, as long as personal attacks weren't made...or something. The upshot was I asked that my membership be cancelled, etc.
I tuned ifish out for 30 days...then, after "lurking" once, tuned out for another 30 days. But, I do find that I miss the give & take with members of this community...some of you, anyhow ...and today, after checking in again to see what, if anything, was being said about the capture of Sodamn Insane, I found this thread. And, after considerable internal discussion, I tried to log on...lo and behold, I was still registered.
So, I'm back... :tongue: :smile:

Funny thing, GSA...while I don't believe you and I have ever had a personal disagreement, your Moniker, is the funniest around. (Especially the story behind it).
