Presidential Resume
RESUME
George W. Bush
The White House, USA
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
LAW ENFORCEMENT: I was arrested in Kennebunkport, Maine, in 1976 for
driving under the influence of alcohol. I pled guilty, paid a fine, and
had my driver's license suspended for 30 days. My Texas driving record
has been "lost" and is not available.
MILITARY: I joined the Texas Air National Guard and went AWOL. I refused to take a drug test or answer any questions about my drug use.
By joining the Texas Air National Guard, I was able to avoid combat duty in Vietnam.
COLLEGE: I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. I was a cheerleader.
PAST WORK EXPERIENCE:
I ran for US Congress and lost.
I began my career in the oil business in Midland, Texas, in 1975. I bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas. The company went bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock.
I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using taxpayer money.
With the help of my father and our right-wing friends in the oil industry (including Enron CEO Ken Lay), I was elected governor of Texas.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS GOVERNOR:
I changed Texas pollution laws to favor power and oil companies, making Texas the most polluted state in the Union.
During my tenure, Houston replaced Los Angeles as the most smog-ridden city in America.
I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the tune of billions in borrowed money.
I set the record for the most executions by any governor in American history.
With the help of my brother, the governor of Florida, and my father's appointments to the Supreme Court, I became President after losing by
over 500,000 votes.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT:
I invaded and occupied two countries at a continuing cost of over one billion dollars per week.
I spent the US surplus and effectively bankrupted the US Treasury.
I shattered the record for the largest annual deficit in US history.
I set an economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in any 12-month period.
I set the all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the US stock market.
I am the first President in US history to enter office with a criminal record.
I set the all-time record for most days on vacation in any one-year period.
After taking off the entire month of August, I presided over the worst security failure in US history.
I am supporting development of a nuclear "Tactical Bunker Buster," a WMD.
In my State of the Union Address, I lied about our reasons for attacking Iraq, then blamed the lies on our British friends.
I set the record for most campaign fundraising trips by a US President.
In my first year in office, over 2 million Americans lost their jobs
and that trend continues every month.
I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12-month period.
I appointed more convicted criminals to administration than any President in US history.
I set the record for fewest number of press conferences of any
President since the advent of television.
I presided over the biggest energy crisis in US history and refused to
intervene when corruption involving the oil industry was revealed.
I presided over the highest gasoline prices in US history.
I have cut health care benefits for war veterans and support a cut in duty benefits for active duty troops and their families -- in war time.
I have set the all-time record for most people worldwide to
simultaneously protest me in public venues (15 million people),
shattering the record for protest against any person in the history of mankind.
I've broken more international treaties than any President in US history.
I'm proud that the members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in US history. My "poorest millionaire," Condoleeza Rice,
has a Chevron oil tanker named after her.
I am the first President in US history to order an unprovoked,
preemptive attack and the military occupation of a sovereign nation. I did so against the will of the United Nations, the majority of US
citizens, and the world community.
I created the Ministry of Homeland Security, the largest bureaucracy in the history of the United States government.
I am the first President in US history to have the United Nations remove the US from the Human Rights Commission.
I withdrew the US from the World Court of Law.
I refused to allow inspectors access to US "prisoners of war" detainees and thereby have refused to abide by the Geneva Convention.
I am the first President in history to refuse United Nations election inspectors (during the 2002 US election).
I am the all-time US and world record-holder for receiving the most
corporate campaign donations.
My largest lifetime campaign contributor, and one of my best friends, Kenneth Lay, presided over the largest corporate bankruptcy fraud in US
history.
My political party used Enron private jets and corporate attorneys to assure my success with the US Supreme Court during my election decision. I have protected my friends at Enron and Halliburton investigation or prosecution. More time and money was spent investigating the Monica Lewinsky affair than has been spent
investigating one of the biggest co rporate rip-offs in history.
I garnered the most sympathy for the US after the World Trade Center attacks and less than a year later made the US the most hated country in
the world, the largest failure of diplomacy in world history.
I am the first President in history to have a majority of Europeans (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and security.
I changed the US policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts.
I have so far failed to fulfill my pledge to bring Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein to justice.
RECORDS AND REFERENCES:
All records of my tenure as governor of Texas are now in my father's library, sealed and unavailable for public view.
All records of SEC investigations into my insider trading and my bankrupt companies are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public
view.
All records or minutes from meetings that I, or my Vice-president, attended regarding public energy policy are sealed in secrecy and
unavailable for public review.
Please consider my experience when voting in 2004.
Note from Fish mojo- These are not my writings or thoughts. It is though a rather enlightening summary of some goings on in Washington that I do not think very well of.

Re: Presidential Resume
Mo,
Why don't you look into the record of your boys too?
PS;
Doggy, if you will note this link is not one sided and hits them all. Just because a criminal is "your criminal" doesn't make their crimes any better. The only one "Running" that is not listed here has too big of a file to put on this web site and she has her own criminal record site.
On a side note check this link out and compare who has had more dead people show up around them
The Democrats Supreme Leader

Re: Presidential Resume
Hey thanks for the info on Clinton.
I'll be sure not to vote for him next time.
Oh, and I won't vote for Howard Dean's son, either.

Re: Presidential Resume
It is very impressive how GW has been able to put a lid on how the CIA agent was exposed...the whole scandal just sort of disapeared from the news it seems....
Has anyone read something recently ... in terms of who the dirty bird that spilled the beans was...
And the journalist who wrote the story...also should have known better.

Re: Presidential Resume
Keta, I read into your link about the others and your absolutely right- they are all a bunch of crooks and thieves-both parties. However, it does not change the facts on GW.

Re: Presidential Resume
Mo,
I didn't dispute a thing you posted. But I didn't read too far down.
My job will never be eliminated but I ran out of unemployment benefits a few weeks ago. I'm glad I paid off my property long ago.
DanS,
Vote for Dean in the primary, please. If by any chance he gets elected he's probably the best that the Democrats can come up with.

Re: Presidential Resume
Anyone can take the bad or good about anyone and twist and expound and push and corrupt and confuse and make enuendos and blah blah blah.... and get what ever they want out of the facts or fiction just to satisfy their need to make someone look bad or themselves feel important because they slam someone. Why not, just get over it!?? Clinton is gone, Bush is the President, we are fighting a war and we need to be unified in what we do as a country.
The long readings on Bush and Clinton have become boring. Give it a rest!

Re: Presidential Resume
Yeah, Keta....I heard the same thing about this Governor of Arkansas back in 1992.
It just might be deja vu all over again.

Re: Presidential Resume
DanS,
If it wasn’t for Perot Bush Sr would have won by a landslide. So far it doesn't look like there will be much of a third party influence.

Re: Presidential Resume
I agree Dan. There is a whole lot of time until the election and I predict we will see more than a couple of surprises before it is all said and done.

Re: Presidential Resume
Stray..."let him who is without sin cast the first stone".
Yes we need to hold our leaders to standards that we ourselves may not be able to live up to. But, we also need to keep in mind that we will never find a 'perfect' person to be president that hasn't made some questionable calls. Anybody who believes otherwise is deceiving themselves.
I see no value in the demonizing of an individual who currently holds office just for the sake of humiliating them. (Clinton included) Having frank/candid discussions is good and we do need to know about an individual's past decisions. It is the intent I take issue with.
Everyone has skeleton's in thier closet, but I do not believe it is beneficial to supply a list of perceived bad decisions, without drawing a line to how it directly effects present day decisions.
Most of the comments above are subjective in thier conclusions, and or completely ignore the reality of things like electoral law, congressional participation, voter support, economic shifts, and or something as simple as professional success.
This 'resume' while being partly based in fact, is not fact, it is mixed with biased opionions/conclusions and therefore is nothing more than an outline for an editorial.

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helvetica">I'm really not trying to belittle you Mojo. There are plenty of idiots in college and plenty of geniuses who never go. You sound like an upstanding man, and thank you for your naval service. I'm guessing you joined the enlisted services because it was the best option available to you at the time - good move. But if you had the same options available to you as GW, would you have taken them instead? And to critcize a man for being a C-student at Yale? Come on.

Re: Presidential Resume
Lured in,
As usual, you make some good points.
Otolith,
You make an even better point concerning Mojo's qualifications.
Mojo,
Let me know when you start forming a campaign committee!
