Default boat sank

walked back to my boat after duck hunting and it was under water, still anchored up just under water, think it hung on the bank when the tide went out and filled up.. any way does anyone know what steps i need to take to get back on the water. I know the gas is bad, both moters need to be gone thru? 4 stroke bf, and a 2 stroke suzi jet. i dont want to miss anything

They need to be serviced immediately, don't wait.

Oil needs to be drained and refilled, remove plugs and turn it over until there's no water, put some oil the cylinders and put new plugs in.

Drain the carbs.

In salt water clean off the engine (under the cowl) to remove as much salt as possible.

They need to be started and run ASAP, run until fully warm to evaporate as much water as possible.

Salt water needs more cleaning of all electrical connections to prevent corrosion.

The time stamp on your post is 12:30 PM today, I hope you've done something before now, if it was salt water there may already be some severe damage.

Not good...Hope you followed ONDRVR advice. Time is not on your side. Don't forget the electrical connections need to be also treated with some kind of corrosion inhibitor. Try your local marina, they can get you started in the right direction. FAST

Good advice here. Get them cleaned up and running ASAP.
I had a motor fall off my boat. Got it cried out and running
with in a few hours, all OK, for a while. I retired it.
Hopefully not in salt

Holy cow, sorry to hear that! Once things settle down maybe you can share the story of how it happened in greater detail. I hunt tidewater all the time and never thought about how that could happen until now.
Your story could help some of us out that never considered it before!

Good luck with the cleanup, hope your back up and running soon.

Not in salt water, still unsure what happened, anchored at high tide, walked back to check at low tide and it was full of water, plu was in, no holes. All i can figure is the bow got stock on the bank allowing the motors to pull the stern under, then slid off once full of water. fuel tanks were under, motors were mostly out of water, but unsure what could be damaged,

I take it you werent anchored along the main stem of the Columbia, and suspect a large wake?
I am guessing you were somewhere inside and the bow ended up sitting on the high ground as the tide went out. I once found my buddies boat like that on a low tide and the transom was only an inch or two above the water...at that point a wake of any size would have swamped it. Or like you mentioned once it became at such an angle the weight of the boat pushed the transom below the surface.
Again sorry it happened but thanks for posting as I hadnt given it much thought and I hunt tidewater all the time.
Lately on the big water I have been anchoring with both bow and stern anchors mainly to keep the bow facing the swell or large wakes.

i was hunting up on the Skagit, should have used both anchors, no wakes up the channels off that river, good point though, my boat is an open duckworth so lots of freeboard

Curious for update. Sounds like you aren't even sure if the motors were submerged though it seems likely. Hope it turns out okay.
