Anybody been up to Mercer yet I hear that there were some 20+ cuts pulled out of there recently. Do you know if the gate is open yet

According to what I've read, the gate opens only in the month of November.

But will that include this Sunday Nov. 1? If it does, I'd like to give this place a shot myself

All right, I took a chance and went up to Aaron Mercer today...and yes, the gate was open.

I'll be posting a full report later, but very quickly, I got my limit but it was a full day's work. No 20" plus fish on my stringer, but these were perhaps the hardest fighting trout I nailed this year.

If you're thinking about going, now's the time.
