Interesting websight.......
I assume some will find this derogatory but I find it interesting and a source of food for thought.
Not saying I agree with it all the time, not saying I never agree with it.
Gotta love freedom of Speech.......

Lots of good information there, but the faithful will dismiss it as "leftwing propaganda."

I really like how it is so well cited.

Re: Interesting websight.......
Let's see, so the ship's crew decides it would be a good idea for a sign highlighting the crew had done their job, they have no materials to make it and the white house staff sets it up without Bush's knowledge. (As so well cited in the article.) I find this neither suprising nor a "conspiracy" of propaganda.
Again as so well cited in the above link about the "propaganda" of the turkey...
"The scene, which lasted just a few seconds, was not visible to a reporter who was there but was recorded by a pool photographer and described by officials yesterday in response to questions raised in Washington. They said the bird was not placed there in anticipation of Bush's stealthy visit, and military sources said a trophy turkey is a standard feature of holiday chow lines."
Wow, tons of deception there. From what I have seen of Bush, he certainly has a joking side. Is it at all possible, that in the mood of the moment (as described in Capt Kujos thread), Bush was having some fun pretending to serve up plastic turkey? Judging by the smiles (probably from laughing) of Bush and the two soldiers nearest him, I would say that it was likely just good 'ol fashion fun. Hopefully the same kind we all have around our tables at Thankgiving.

Bottom line is that people who want to see the negative instead of positive will always find what they're looking for.

Re: Interesting websight.......
This was on World Net Daily yesterday. It is a real turkey but it was intended to be a centerpiece.
You Democrats have just got to slam Bush anyway you can and if this is the best you can do, look forward to four more years of being out of power. If Condi Rice runs then it'll be 12 years.

Re: Interesting websight.......
Tanner,
"That is almost as interesting as this . "
except one of them is about The President of the United States the other is about the guy who is NOT President of the United States
unless your position is that they are the same type of lying politicians then I would guess the stories are equally interesting

Re: Interesting websight.......
That site is run by the anti-war agitator Eli Pariser. The same guy running movon dot org. Located in New York and praised by the New York Times. This guy has a whole lot of websites with the same liberal theme. These guys don't believe in any war. They would probably have protested going to war after Pearl Harbor.
The world is not a perfect place. Sometimes violent acts must be taken. As far as Iraq is concerned WMD or not. There was plenty of justification for removing Sadaam.
We are the greatest nation on earth. We have the most powerful army that has ever existed. A brutal dictator existed. A madman that used chemical weapons on his own people. We acted with total moral justification. Now these guys want us to just leave unfinished.
Some of these guys were also protesting going to Afghanistan. For every terrorist we eliminate another pops up. And yes Sadaam was a terrorist. He conducted genocide and terorized his own population. His sons ***** and murdered at will. We have a moral obligation to end that kind of tyranny in the world because we are the only nation that can. And there are still countries to be dealt with.
If we do nothing we will be in for some serious trouble in the future. These guys are not going away. They want to kill all of us. We can either take the fight to them on our terms or wait for them to attack us. And they will.
At least many of those thugs are flocking to Iraq instead of trying to get into the US.
We spend 400 billion dollars on defence. Thats six times more than the next closest defence budget which is Russia at 65 billion. I think it is money well spent. Without the US there would be wars going on all over. No country is going to invade a sovereign nation because they know that "This Will Not Stand".
We have shaped the world for the better and we should all be proud to be Americans. I find the content on that website to be counter productive. We are in a fight with an enemy that is highly elusive and wants all of us infidels to die. Even the anti-war protesters.
