Default Bumper Stickers

Why is it that you very rarely (if ever) see a derogatory conservative (right wing) bumper sticker, but everywhere you look you see liberal bumper stickers bashing conservative causes or people?

You're not looking in the right places.......

Come on down to So. Oregon.

Does spotted owl really taste like chicken?
Will we really log the rest of the universe after we finish with earth??
Are the Enviros really responsible for the Bisquit Fire? (in fairness, this one is a billboard)
Will someone really take someone else's gun from thier cold dead hands?

Edit I almost forgot my all time favorites. That would be the mental giants that put the decals of Calvin urinating on their most hated cause.......... that one really makes me proud of man kind when I have the kids along. Those really go well with the flag decals, too. Dosen't it make you proud to know that the right is well represented out on the road, too?

I think it a common case of seeing what one wants to see.

Sour grapes is right. It is the vine they hang on that is in question.......

BTW, while you're down here checking out the bumper stickers, be sure to notice all the wet, muddy and crumpled American flags that are on the roads and when reading the right wing bumper stickers, be sure to check out all of the American flags all over the rigs that host these bumper stickers. You can tell the ones that graduated eighth grade by the fact they actully get the flag decal on the correct way, not backwards.

Dog and LS,
Some of the ones LS put down are derogatory. The ones I asked about I don't see as being so. In fact some of the ones LS mentioned are insulting, true but insulting

Dog,
You know how conservative KF is. I don't see many of right wing stickers but do see quite a few brave liberals with their slogans on there bumpers. I'll make it a point to look more and see if I'm missing the ones I tend to agree with. As for the flags in the mud It bothers me to see a flag whipping on an antenna going down the road at 60 mph.

PS:

I guess I must be blind because I spend alot of time on the road and I just don't see that many. The liberal ones outnumber the conservative ones 10-1. (At least in the Portland area). Oh wait though, I forgot that anything "advertising" Christianity is derogatory and should be considered hateful.

One of my favorites that I saw a couple weeks ago was "Get back to work, Millions of people on welfare are depending on you." But I still don't see how that or any of the others are as derogatory as "Impeach Bush" or "Bush is a Liar" or some of the others that I see.

Dog,
What's derogatory about "Earth First! We'll log the other planets next" and "Does spotted owl really taste like chicken"?

As for the Bisquit Fire, if the fire fighters had gone into the wilderness areas and put it out it wouldn't have gotten so big. Long term the fire will have been a good thing. It might have cut back the bacteria that's killing the Port Orford Cedars and it opened up the forest for regrowth.
