Re: Blazer woe's continue
When I think of the Portland Trailblazers I think:
Drugs Drugs Drugs
Thugs Thugs Thugs
I sent an e-mail to Blazer Feedback. I doubt they care what anyone thinks. I think they are all on dope.

Re: Blazer woe's continue
Well they already have my opinion on tape via a TV interview during their game with the Grizzlys a few weeks back. I was on the 10pm news after the game hammering them a bit on the lack of team sprirt. about 8 seconds of my interview made it to video but there is about 5 minutes of tape if they are interested.
I will not be attending any more games this year. They are pathetic loosers, degenerates, and dope heads that have no accountability to the team or themselves. Sure glad I never committed to season tickets a few years back.
Hey Paul Allen, you on dope too????? :depressed: And Bill to ya.

Re: Blazer woe's continue
Don't these guys have REALLY NICE HOUSES they can smoke weed in? I mean, what's the deal with the CAR? Each Blazer needs a personal assistant to help him through the world...

Re: Blazer woe's continue
The deal with the car is that these guys don't have any clue as to what to do with thier lives. With all thier millions they still can not find anything better to do than to drive around trying to look cool. Thats why they are always in thier car smokin weed. These guys are just mindless thugs that can play basketball.
I have seen some of those thugs driving around NE Portland trying to look cool in thier big black SUV's. I couldn't tell which Blazers. The cloud of smoke pouring out of the window obscured my view. But Cheech and Chong were definately in the back.

Re: Blazer woe's continue
Webster's defines "thug" as "An assassin; a ruffian; a rough" -- I think that term is a little over the top for a big stoned basketball star. Well ... except Patterson ...
I could be their personal assistant! I never got caught smoking pot in a car! And I know where lots of DMV offices are ... we can go get us a license!

Re: Blazer woe's continue
I still contend that if they were winning the Rose Garden would be filled. Your average Portlandite could give a care less if these guys smoke marijuana.
It would be interesting to see if these guys can put together a winning year. The real reason they are losing is they are being led by two huge head cases.(Bonzi and Rasheed) I hope they do start winning but the fans stay home. But it more likely will be that they will continue to lose and the fans will stay home. Can we please have Jermaine and Brian Grant back?
A good number of people would like to see Paul Allen get rid of these guys but he is stuck for now with Rasheed. It would be fiscally stupid to dump him instead of just holding him for this year and then saying bye bye when his free agency comes up.

Re: Blazer woe's continue
I would be quite pleased to go to a few Blazer games IF the team was full of good citizens suitable as role models for my kids. I really wouldn't much care if they won or not...
Even my kids don't like this team...a bunch of antisocialights, not helping the reputation of the Northwest as a place for "goodguys" to live.

Re: Blazer woe's continue
Thug is a little much, I agree. I just like using the word in a sentence.
It is ridiculous how many of these guys are getting caught smokin weed in thier cars. One would think that they would much rather be kickin it on a nice couch in one of thier nice homes smokin away, rather than smokin out in public where they keep getting caught.
Slang Guide:
smokin = smoking
kickin = kicking
I do know how to spell

Re: Blazer woe's continue
Ok, I'll ask again....isn't this why they hired Jerome Kersey? I thought he was supposed to make sure these guys stayed out of trouble, i.e. no insurance, etc. At least that's what I read when they hired him.
I don't care if the guy was burning some goob, but driving around without insurance? Actually, he doesn't have to have it if he can post a $1M bond. He could probably afford it.
My license expires in 2 weeks. My employer has already sent me 3 reminders in the last month, plus one from the DMV. If the Blazoes are serious about cleaning up their act they need to follow up on their employees and make sure they're being good little delinquents.
It's too bad the NBA doesn't do contracts like the NFL does, as in non-guaranteed. A player yanks the team's chain and he's gone. Out the door. FIRED. And he just reduced his market value by being branded as a miscreant (like Keyshawn Johnson ) In the NBA it doesn't matter if you play or not. You get paid just the same. Dump that mentality and everybody will fall into line.

Just one more reason to be a Winter Hawk fan. You won't find a more devoted group of kids. Go Hawks Go

Re: Blazer woe's continue
You know what Leatherneck, you might be on to something here. In the last few years every Blazer game I have gone to I have been disappointed regardless if they win or not. They don't hussle, they don't work hard, they give up at the first chance they get.
I can say in the Winter Hawk games I go to each year, regardless of the outcome, I have a great time. Those kids give it all they have everytime out on the ice. I think it's time Portlanders give a little more attention to those who deserve it.
GO HAWKS! You now have a new fan....

Re: Blazer woe's continue
Paul Allen spent $80 million to try and put a championship team together. What did he get? Chumps, potheads, loosers that have never heard of Maslow.

Re: Blazer woe's continue
I think it was Jack Ramsey, but not sure, who was asked how he put together championship basketball teams. He said that he went out and found the best athletes and then taught them to play basketball. I would think this holds true to a certain extent and I think the Blazers might take a page from his play book.....go out and find the best well-behaved athletes and teach them to play basketball.
It sure seems their current strategy: find the best basketball talent regardless of their character, is not working so good.

Hey......didn't Bonzi ask you guys to be more professional????
I got a chuckle when I read they hired one of the original bad blazer-kersey-to be the baby sitter.

Re: Blazer woe's continue
The management should not have to do this, but the solution to the license and insurance problem is easy. Have a current Oregon driver’s license and proof of insurance or do not play. Might as well make it grounds for suspension with out pay. I bet they would all be beating down the door of the loacal DMV if this was in place. All the Blazers have to do is make sufficient consequences for bad behavior, just like I do for my children.
Until something changes for the positive, I have little interest in this team.

Re: Blazer woe's continue
This just in. Zach is suppose to address the crowd before the game tonight. Probably offer up some lame excuse about the pressures of being a pro and in the spot light.
I bet Damon and Rasheed will be standing right next to him with signs that read "Cut him some slack". Boy this is tiring just laughing out loud over how pathetic they really are.

Re: Blazer woe's continue
I heard Damon yesterday talking about it and he sounded just like he did when he "apologized". He said "Its too bad that this happened to him", just like he told us that he was sorry that "This happened" when he got busted.
This is the problem, stuff didn't "happen", you "DID" it. YOU happened, it is YOU. Stuff like this doesn't happen to you, you do it. End of story.
"I got bad grades cause the teacher didn't like me", no you got bad grades cause you're a dumbass.
Pot smoking and getting busted without insurance doesn't "happen" to you. You do it or you don't. Period.

Re: Blazer woe's continue
Bonzi is gone! Now there are two more to get rid of ASAP. Rasheed and Damon. Everyone might as well face it. This team sucks. I don't care how much talent people claim these guys have. These guys will never get to the finals. The only place they seem to be successful at getting to is jail.
