Re: t.bay springers
Remember last year when Jennie caught that nice 37 pound springer?
I think it was in April sometime...
When she caught that fish, no one else caught one bigger!
Remember?

Re: t.bay springers
I once caught one April 14th, But that the earliest either me or Dad has ever caught one( in 40ish years of combined guiding for them). For the most part they start in early May and run through early July. I don't start guiding for them until May.

Re: t.bay springers
All of may can yield good springer action on T-Bay. This year the third week has the best tide series for good spinner fishing in the upper bay. Expect good fishing this season.

Re: t.bay springers
River Ranger, very good idea to go with Chris V. <The Greek>. My friend and I were with Chris last spring on the bay. We had a double on spinners and a sealion. I'm sure Chris has added that to his story list. Have a good time. Dave

Re: t.bay springers
Chris V. really knows his T Bay springers. Good choice. Start fishing in May and fish until the closure. IMHO it's better later.

Re: t.bay springers
RichH,
In "one of those rivers"?......HHHMMMMMMM. I haven't caught a springer in a coastal system in about 10 years, since I found a Willamette Tributary system full of them closer to home. I guess I'll need to choose between closer to home or closer to chrome. Hmmmmm.
My pink worm setup is going to get a work out tomorrow.

It's when you get tired of your neighbor standing in your driveway with that hound dog look and holding his fishing rod in one hand and tackle box in the other!
