Ever here that song from Tupac Shakur? Come on admit it. You listen to to Tupac.
I just saw the latest Tupac movie. The guy was brilliant. I admit he could have toned down the profanity. I have seen the ghetto. Tupac's lyrics were quite racey but the content was always true.

Tha girl can hardly spell her name
Tupac was quite talented, and I used to listen to him several years ago. Now I can't get passed the drugs, language, sex, and everything else that is wrong with him(and the rest of our society) and what he promotes. He is very talented though.

Kind of ironic, really. Despite his talent, I'd say Tupac barely had a brain due to the fact that he managed to get shot on two different occasions, the last time for good.
I guess the old adage is true.

I don't care much for Rap, I prefer Heavy Metal or sixties music :smile: . But I like Tupac. His music has tone and melody. The way everything blends together is fantastic. Everything else is just duh duh duh yak yak yak. Fifty Cents, Eminem, etc.... All fakes and wannabees.
Love him or hate him. Tupac portrayed himself as a thug but in reality he was just a guppy being used. I won't go into all the details but Suge Knight is still making millions off Tupacs material. I think the mother has gained control of most of the rights. Tupac had only $150,000 in his bank account when he died. Most of the profit came in the years immediately following his death.
I recommend seeing "Tupac The Resurrection". There's quite a bit of unreleased footage. For many people this film will show them a culture that they would never see without the movie.
