Fern Ridge Updates?

Anybody been down that way for some big largies. The water should be really low and concentrating the fish . I should be heading there this month. Updates would be greatly appreciated.

Fall bite is in full swing; my buddy caught 30 on mon and 10 on tues......Sure wish I was home to catch them......

You might not be able to get your boat in. The orchard point marina was less then 4 ft on sunday and dropping fast!!

Well, im gonna be on the willy in salem on saturday. Maybe i'll hit fern friday or sunday.

I stopped by there on the 18th to give it a shot for the first time. The Orchard Point ramp was still usable but the other one by there was closed. The water temp. was around 60. Unfortunately, there was only about a foot of visibility so I decided to go elsewhere. The only other time I've gone there it was the same and I didn't fish it that time either. Is this lake typically this murky?

It's always about a foot of visibility or less, if you wait for clear water you will never fish it!

Ya its really murky... but all you need to know is wood around this time of year.
