Default Talk radio- likes and dislikes

I spend alot of time in the work van driving from jobsites around Portland, and I find myself usually tuned into the talk shows. Thought I'd share my favorites (and least) with comments. How about yours?
Likes:
1.) Tom Leykis (1080KOTK afternoons)Funny and raunchy talk about male/female relations.
2.) Lars Larson (750KXL afternoons) NW issues and politics. I am a Demo, but Lars tells it like it is.
3.) Dan Patrick (910 the fan afternoons) ESPN sports with humor and good guests.
Dislikes:
1.) Rush Limbaugh (KEX mornings) Big blowhard shill for the ultra right conservatives. I've tried to listen to him but his responses are over the top without reason. If a Rep. does something its great, if a demo does the exact same thing it's evil. Blames it all on the "Liberal Press". Most press is actually quite moderate to conservative.
2.) Jim Rome (910 the fan mornings) Sports from the childish "clone" crowd. Some good guest interviews.

Leykis cracks me up! A friend introduced me to AM 1080 and the Tom Leykis show. Been hooked ever since! Just DON'T listen to him with your wife/girlfriend.

No kidding, good way to lose either....

I can't take too much of Leykis but I do like the Rick Emerson show that precedes it.

Yeah, I admit I listen to Leykis:-( The thing you have to remember about him is that 90% of his rhetoric is only used to just to incite listeners enough to call in and is not necessarily true nor good advice. I listen to him for the entertainment value only.

Now Phil Hendrie is the most fun to listen to. It is amazing how many callers still call in and have no clue that he himself is generating the voice of his ridiculous guests.

I can only listen to Emerson for a little while before he gets on my nerves with his innane comparisons and chatter. He uses a lot of words to say very little.

None of the above.

"Talk of the Nation" - Neil Conan - NPR @ noon

Maybe doesn't count as "talk radio", since the host is not obnoxious and lets guests and callers talk most of the time.

Most of the time its bits and pieces of any of the following in order of preference.

1. Bill O'Rielly 750KXL
2. Lars Larson 750KXL
3. Rush 1190 KEX
4. Leykis when in Seattle and I can listen on FM instead of AM radio. (100.7 is FM talk radio up there.) After listening to Leykis I have to go wash my mind with mental soap.)

I forgot Lance Fisher, he's good. I always wonder, why isn't a guide out working on Saturday mornings. Are you out there, Lance?
