Wanted: Old 250 Gallon Propane Tank
Just curious if anyone had an old 250 or perhaps a 500 gallon propane tank they wanted to ge rid of.......not going to use it for propane....rather I am going to use it for another project.....
So if you have one or know of someone who wants to get rid of one, let me know.
Shawn

Just curious, making a pit Bar-B-Q or smoker? If so, I/we would like to follow the progress If it's a rocket, would like to see the launch.

Same here if it is to be a BBQ pit I'll bring the soda or barley if required.

Not a propane tank, but I have a large pressure tank for a well that I replaced awhile back. Might work for you and the price is right....free!

Re: Wanted: Old 250 Gallon Propane Tank
Okay, the cat is out of the bag......I am going to build a custom trailered BBQ for the American Legion Post 21 in McMinnville for them to use for fundraisers. This unit will come complete with fold-out roof.
I have spent considerable time researching the different designs from different manufacturers, and have drawn up the best of them all, into one.
When I start this, I will start a thread on the L.I.G. board to post pics and updates. BTW, I did get my chrome stacks the other day.....and boy they look good....wonder what other chrome may be in store?

It may be a rocket indeed if I forget to fill the tank with an inert gas before taking the Plasma Torch to it............ And the rockets red glare....

Talk to your local propane distributer. I picked up a 125 that leaked for free.

Maybe a "Sticky" would be cool to follow the design/build project.
When done, he could have EVERYONE over for a test drive
