Snow contest for kids
Will it snow? I'm so excited! I always feel like a kid waiting for the school closure list, when it's supposed to snow!
OK, for all you kiddies out there... And I mean real kids, not 44 year old kids like me!---
The first child to get snow on their lawn at HOME this year needs to build a snow man. I don't care how big it is... Well, it should be over a foot tall...
Anyway, have Mom or Dad take a picture of it, and send it in, to ifish, or post it here.
First kid that sends one in wins a Back Yard Bass Game! Also, I'll throw in two ifish decals and an ifish patch!
Any other children who enter, after that, win a couple of ifish stickers, up to the 10th one.
Fun, anyway...
Hey! I'm doing this mostly for me. I want to see snow men!
Decorate them! If you decorate it as a fisher person, then you might get something extra. WHO KNOWS?
Jen

Re: Snow contest for kids
Got snow here too as well as kids.
Snow in Grand Ronde this early? Isn't this unusual? :depressed: In KF it can snow any month of the year :depressed:
Pete,
Where does your daughter get her good looks?
Another nice shot

Re: Snow contest for kids
Keta! Your child wins the game!
Now, I'm going to go on with the Portland area snows.... Any greater Portland area, wins one too! Then, the decals...

Re: Snow contest for kids
 We cheated living at 4000'
How high is Grand Ronde? It can't be over 1000' and probably much lower.
PS:
Jennie,
I won a "Ready Set Go" contest a while back. Give the first prize to the first place looser
Thanks for helping me with the picture posting.

Re: Snow contest for kids
According to my rules, you won, fair and square.
Better ask your little one, before you go giving away the prize!
Let me know... I have a couple games to give away!

Re: Snow contest for kids
Oh man, should have read this earlier. We had 4" of snow until yesterday when much of it melted, but not before a snowball fight with my daughter.

A bit late for the contest, but we did manage a snowman from todays snowstorm.
Kids were having fun in the snow today!

Re: Snow contest for kids
Steve- you didn't read the thread close enough. Looks like you got a "portland area" first place prize to me.
Better yet- looks like you've got two first place prizes right there at home all the time.
Love the red nose on the little one. How long before she grows into those gloves?

Re: Snow contest for kids
YES!!!!!!!! I love it! Thank you so much! YOU made my day! I didn't get any snow to stick. I love the happy faces!
Anyhow, send me the little one's name and address, and I'll send her out a game!
Congrats! What are their names?

Re: Snow contest for kids
Thanks Jen. They are cute. The oldest is Alexis (my youngest). The other is my next door neighbors daughter Grace. They were having a lot of fun in the snow.
We still have about 2 to 3 inches on the ground at my house. Both of my girls are out making another snowman right now.
