Upper Willamette
I fished the upper Willamette with a buddy South of Independence for 2 hrs Friday eve. The river seemed higher and faster than the last time I was there. There was a lot of moss floating down the river. I had to pull moss off my lure for about 75% of my casts. The fishing was pretty slow. I managed to catch and release 3 smallmouth of 1.5 to 2 lbs. The moss made it a bit frustrating, but a beautiful evening just the same.
