Default Getting Speedometer to work on Yami

I recently bought a 1991 Formula Vee with a factory yami 130 with the built in gauges and the rpm gauge works and oil but not the speedometer... Any thoughts?

Thanks!

It may have a bit of debris in the hole in the leading edge of the lower unit that provides pressure to operate the gauge. Not uncommon.

Cool, I will go check that out! Is it obvious what/which hole I am looking for?

Thanks!

Most likely below the hull line, right on the front edge.
I had a merc that had a splice in the tube so you could pop it off and shoot some compressed air down it to clear it.
Splice was at the tilt pivot and was fairly obvious.

ok, did a quick look at the motor, and did not find any holes in the front fin area. I found a few holes on the side that are real small like 1/16th of an inch or less. about three inches back from the front edge. How big should the hole be? its a 1990 yami 130 model L130etxd....
