Default Best place to buy a lower unit

I need a new lower unit for my honda 200. It is a 2006 with a extra long shaft (25 inches). My insurance covered most but not all of the cost of a new one but I was wondering if there are any good deals to be found so I can save some of the money.

I have called a ton of places locally looking for one that was replaced with a jet pump but had no luck. I have found others with a long shaft but a new shaft is 700$.

Does anyone have one of these they want ot get rid of? Or have any better ideas where I could get a deal on one?

Thanks

Luke

Not suggesting anything but be careful what you do. I just went through this with my lower unit. The insurance sent me a check for most of a new one and I thought geez maybe I can get my old one fixed and save some money. A few days later the insurance called and said they had not yet recieved anything showing I got a new lower unit. Uh oh! Luckily I got a new lower unit but when they sent the check they said NOTHING about wanting a receipt of some sort. Seems the check was for a NEW lower unit and that is what they expected me to get.
