Oops ,,that wasnt toothpaste.
My wife is a bit of a packrat. She saves everything, with hope that someday we will need it again.
You know the type,,, She saves it .
We have two children ages 5 and 11.
This morning while I was getting ready for work,, its not completely light ,,, Im out of the shower and brushing my teeth.
I grab what looks like toothpaste fill my brush and shove it in my mouth. Suprise surprise, Desiden(sp) you know the stuff,,, that white greasy stuff that you used on the baby for diper rash. Whow ,we havent had a baby in the house for years ,,, maybe the wife was saving it for me when I get old ,, or maybe for my daughter when she has a baby or ,,,or,,, hummm. Hi Ho. id. painter

IDP - Desitin is zinc oxide. You can use it as sunblock. Maybe that's why she was saving it?
How long did it take you to shave it off your teeth?

My inlaws lived in Arkansas through the depression and NOTHING gets thrown out. Unfortunatley, they passed that frugality on to my wife........ 
Sheeesh, I hardly have room for my 25 or so fishing rods, room full of tackle, 8 or 9 guns and a ton of ammo and accessories!  :grin:

I know what you mean about her stuff taking all the space ,, we are still battling over the garage ,,,, I filled it with a new boat,, and displace a whole ton of her stuff. But the boat is in the garage,,, for now. id. painter

Preparation H works well on Gingavitice. Sooths swollen gums. Now if they could just give it a minty flavor I would'nt have to flose so much.

Yep Keta, I won that battle but may have still lost the war. I get that cross eyed (angry look)each time she passes the garage to go scratch the ice and snow from her car in the mornings . But the boat is safe inside, for now. Hi Ho. id. p.

The way that stuff smells it might make a great scent for sturgeon fishing.
My kids are 5 and 8 and I can't find anything in the bathroom, there is no way I would just dig in the drawer and not pay attention to what I grabbed.

You are right ,, I was being careless ,, But I hadnt seen that tube for several years . It snuck up on me and got me. Now im gun shy and checked twice this morning to make sure I had toothpaste on my brush. id. p.
