Hillary's Dream
Original contents removed - they were offered as a joke, but others chose to turn this into a political thread.

Re: Hillary's Dream
Geez, lighten up Stew...it's just a joke and you can place the name of anyone you want in the joke. :depressed:
I'm neither a rightie, nor a leftie...actually, politics is not amongst my interests. If you find this offending to your beliefs and/or leanings I would be most happy to edit the wording out of the thread; after all, your opinion of me really means alot.
It never ceases to amaze me at how some people like to jump at the first opportunity to toss out criticism, jump to conclusions, ....thin skinned? Put on some lotion.

Re: Hillary's Dream
Nope Stew, we're not. I'm hoping for a ticket with Condoleeza Rice for Prez and Colin Powell for VP. Let's just see the Democrats try to touch that one, even with Hillary running! Republicans can out-diversify the Democrats any day. The only thing holding us back are the Democrats who've held up all of those minority court appointments that GW made.

Insert GW's name and see what response you get.If you would have noticed the smiling message icon then you would have seen that I was kidding too.
So take your own advice and lighten up yourself

Re: Hillary's Dream
Nope- not kidding. Is she a **** star or what?
I hate politics (and politicians) more than gillnets and snaggers. In case you haven't noticed I don't post on the political discussions (well almost never). I do read them occasionally just to have a laugh at the urination contests with the skunks and see who I want to ignore completely ( ) on the board.
I do watch the news when I'm not busy or , which isn't often. That stuff just makes my blood pressure go up.

LS,
Your token comment is very offensive. Condi's resume speaks for itself. Too bad people like you have to take away what people like her achieve. BTW, I am sure she is not hispanic. You might double check that before you post more of that garbage.

Lost Sailor, you got after us about the French comments and then......
Funny she is a token presence. Good thing she has her Doctorate on her wall to validate her.
Collin Powell must also be a token since he doe'nt always agree with Bush.
I hope you were not serious with your comment.

Sorry. My mistake. Uncalled for, and false.
Still, I'm pretty sure her skin tone and gender are important to the Bush image managers. Does that make ME the racist/sexist?
Racism is a "fantasy" concocted by Clinton/Gore

Re: Hillary's Dream
LS,
I think it's her intelligence and attitude that got her where she is, not her race.
I also feel she is one of the best choices we have for president.
Now knock off this hate posting and show how much you support diversity.
Kamloops,
"I thought only Republicans were racist?"
So true
Miss B,

Frankly, there isn't a woman in politcs that I want to see elected president.
And I dislike HILLARY so the joke was funny to me. If she is an icon for some of you, sorry about that, but I never liked her OR Nancy Reagan OR Betty Ford. I do admire Rosalynn Carter though!

Re: Hillary's Dream
Hey Stew,
Speaking of Michael Savage, have you heard him lately??? He has been on Bush and the entire republican party like stink on skunk.
He may be extreme, but if a politician is screwing up, right or left, he is all over it.
Before 9-11 he was ready to crucify Bush for a bill he was about to sign granting amnesty to over 3 million illegal aliens. I remember one specific rant where he referred to Bush as a turncoat and a traitor.
I know I am a liitle off topic here but I remember a thread from a couple weeks ago where you were implying that guys like savage had the mentality of "The politicians are right as long as they are republicans". (Note, I am not quoting what you said, The quotes are to display what I felt was your general thought the way I percieved it as best as I could remember from the discussion)

Buchanan/Savage????? Stew, are you addicted to prescription pain killers? Any new head injuries? Hair to short???? (sorry, just had to say that). That would be like Hillary/Ireland (Patricia Ireland from the NOW gang).
Rice would get my vote for sure. Smart lady and very savy.

Yeah Tanner Savage is an equal opportunity fascist. I used to car-pool with someone who just loved Savages "Paul Revere" society so I got an earful.
Buchanan and Savage would go good together wouldn't they?

Re: Hillary's Dream
LS- She's black, she's smarter than you and me, and three or four others here COMBINED, and quite frankly I like black women older than 40 as politicians more than I do any other demographic group. They've got nothing to lose, they know what justice and injustice are, and they're not beholden to the money. I've had the privilege of voting for Jackie Winters. I'd like the privilege of voting for Rice as well. She rocks. I think she's better than GW and Colin Powell. And she's kinda cute.

Re: Hillary's Dream
I would vote for her before I would vote for W.
Sorry I can't seem to articulate what I meant, I should have left it at "she's Bush's brain."
My judgement is clouded by fear and anger, and it will just be getting worse for at least the next year. Maybe the next five years.

Re: Hillary's Dream
Not conceding defeat in the election already are ya LS? Ya still have at least a year to bolster your forces. Then again it could be 5 years.
