Saddam should have read his Quran closer
American Eagle


This is something to think about! Since America is typically
represented by an eagle. Saddam should have read up on his Muslim
passages... The following verse is from the Quran, (the Islamic Bible)

Quran (9:11) -- For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a
fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the
lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair
still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of
Allah; and there was peace.

Note the verse number!!!!!)

That's sweet, but unfortunately a crock:

Guess it lost something in the translation?

Depends on the version of the Koran you are reading. It is it the Sultan Mohammed version or the New Testament with the perpetual virgins in it?

Don't know anything about the Koran,I just got this in my e-mail this morning :whazzup: ,so I have no idea if its true or not,thought I'd put it on here and see what comes up.No offense or insult meant to anyone.

The Quran has some remarkable similarities to the Old Testament, but it's no more the "Islamic Bible" than the Bible is the "Christian Quran."
