Right now, I am watching the DIY Bird watching workshop.

My favorite is David Mark's "Wood Working"

And Paul James Gardening By the Yard and Home Grown Cooking is also good!

DIY and HGTV and sometimes a fishing show or two!

TV is a good thing! (yes, I even watch Martha Stewart!) :grin:

Your right, most TV sucks. I get 4 channels, fortunately one is Southern Oregon Public Broadcasting.

PS: I usualy don't watch the other channels.

You watch GBTY and Homegrown cooking? Both shows are produced by the company I work for and I've worked on both of those series. Have you ever watched "Help Around the House" on HGTV? Another one of ours. I'm glad you like them. Paul is a great host and a funny guy.

I think Paul James is an excellent host on both shows - right amount and type of humor. Also his shows are not to simple/basic and not to technical.

I normally don't like the other home improvement type shows on DIY as they tend to be to simple/basic oreinted and don't give enough details for me.

There are other channels besides HGTV, Discovery, and TLC? I get to learn all kinds of skills that save my husband from having to help. In fact, I just do it myself 99.99% of the time. Painting, building, paving, plumbing, wiring, gardening, all that fun stuff (I think it's fun. He doesn't).

Other than that it better be sports events of some type.

Keta, you've got to throw away your Barbie collection and come live in the real world.

When I was young we didn't have TV. When we did get one we got 1 channel and all of the programs ran 1 week late because thay ran them in Medford first. It is nice to have 4 channels now.

My TV is always on DIY or HGTV all day on weekdays when I'm here. I'm afraid I might miss something if it isn't! [img]graemlins/dork.gif[/img]

Now you have me wondering. Paul James cooked salmon on an episode last week. He said buy farm raised atlantic salmon unless you like "robust" flavor, then get a king salmon. Did you influence that? :tongue:

DircTV does let me pick specific programs in advance. It will automatically go to the selected channel at the selected time. Makes Caveman nuts when he is in the middle of boxing. :grin:

Yeah, I think TIVO is the way to go, but it has to wait till Christmas. I need to buy a bandsaw first.

No Aunty, I didn't have much say in the salmon selection.

Paul lives in Tulsa, OK (where we also shoot GBTY at his house) and if it weren't for the fact that he knows a lot about cooking, I'm surprised he even knows there is more that one kind! :grin:

I worked on season 6 of GBTY a few years ago, and edited 4 or 5 HGC episodes. HGTV usually doesn't run credits after the shows anymore except sometimes 1/3 screen left, but if they did, you'd see my name flash by. :smile:
